I announced some weeks ago that later this year I would be publishing a book of short stories, entitled Tied with a yellow bow.
In this post, I am going to share some further news about the book, as well as a link to a page on this website, which will be updated as more information is confirmed.
Here are some details:
Publishing information
The current provisional release date is Friday, September 11th 2026, and I am hoping to have a release event (an interview, a story reading, and some nibbles) that evening.
A limited number of copies will be available to purchase at that event.
The book will be available from Amazon, in print as a paperback (5″ x 8″) and on Kindle from that day, and also, either on that day or a later date, available to order via bookshops. No hardback release is currently planned, as they are very expensive for limited runs.
Book information
The current contents are as follows:
Confirmed (9 stories, plus foreword & afterword)
1 – Solomon
2 – Pip
3 – When Autumn Leaves
4 – Tied with a yellow bow
5 – How Shall We Sing
6 – Ringed by the Flat Horizon
7 – The Eclectic Chair
8 – The Crystal Forest
9 – Star Light, Star Bright (although currently numbered 9, it is likely to be the final story in published order)
In progress (4 stories, not all of which may make it in, they are still being edited – titles may change on these stories)
10 – Day One
11 – The Cottage
12 – The Library Card
13 – At Night I Heard the Shells
The contents will be finalised before the end of this month, as I am hoping to take a proof copy away with my in July for final editing, so I can record the audiobook version in late July/early August.
